
Installing and using a Figabytes eSIM on an Android device is a simple, digital process. Once installed, you can start using mobile data without inserting a physical SIM card.
This guide walks you through how to install your eSIM and how to start using it once you arrive at your destination.
Before you begin, make sure your Android device is eSIM-compatible, unlocked, and connected to stable Wi-Fi.
Before You Start
Please confirm the following:
- Your Android device supports eSIM
- Your device is unlocked
- You have a reliable Wi-Fi connection
- Your device software is up to date
- You have your Figabytes eSIM details ready
Step 1: Install the eSIM on Your Android Device
Option A: Install Using a QR Code (Recommended)
- Open Settings
- Go to Network & Internet or Connections
- Tap SIMs or SIM Manager
- Select Add eSIM or Add mobile plan
- Choose Scan QR code
- Scan the Figabytes eSIM QR code
- Confirm installation and wait for the profile to download
Option B: Install Manually
If you can’t scan a QR code:
- Open Settings → Network & Internet / Connections
- Tap SIMs → Add eSIM
- Select Enter activation details manually
- Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code provided by Figabytes
- Confirm and complete installation
Keep your device connected to Wi-Fi until installation finishes.
Step 2: Label Your eSIM
After installation, name your eSIM so it’s easy to identify later.
Recommended labels:
- “Figabytes Travel”
- “Figabytes Data”
This is especially helpful if you use more than one SIM.
Step 3: When to Turn On the eSIM
If you install your eSIM before traveling:
- Leave the Figabytes eSIM turned off
- Turn it on only after you arrive at your destination
This helps ensure your data plan starts at the right time.
Step 4: Start Using the eSIM After Arrival
Once you arrive at your destination:
- Open Settings
- Go to Network & Internet / Connections → SIMs
- Turn on your Figabytes eSIM
- Set it as your mobile data line
- Enable Data roaming
Your device should connect to a local network within a few minutes.
If Mobile Data Doesn’t Work Immediately
Try the following:
- Wait 1–2 minutes after enabling the eSIM
- Restart your device
- Manually select a network
- Check that data roaming is enabled

Important Information
- Each eSIM can be installed only once
- Do not delete the eSIM after installation unless instructed
- Deleting the eSIM may require a replacement
