
If you’re using a Samsung Galaxy device and need to install your Figabytes eSIM manually, follow the steps below. Manual installation is helpful if you’re unable to scan a QR code or prefer to enter the details yourself.
Before you begin, make sure your device is eSIM-compatible, unlocked, and connected to stable Wi-Fi.
What You’ll Need Before Installation
- A Samsung Galaxy device that supports eSIM
- A stable Wi-Fi connection
- Your Figabytes eSIM activation details (QR code or manual information)
- Your device powered on and updated to the latest software
Step-by-Step: Manual eSIM Installation on Samsung Galaxy
Step 1: Open Settings
On your Samsung device, open Settings.
Step 2: Go to Connections
Tap Connections, then select SIM manager.
Step 3: Add a Mobile Plan
Tap Add eSIM, then choose Enter activation code or Add using activation code (wording may vary by device).
Step 4: Enter eSIM Details Manually
Instead of scanning a QR code, choose the option to enter details manually.
Enter the information provided in your Figabytes confirmation email, such as:
- SM-DP+ address
- Activation code
Carefully enter the details exactly as provided.
Step 5: Confirm and Install
Once the information is entered:
- Tap Add or Install
- Wait while your device downloads the eSIM profile
This may take a few moments.
Step 6: Label Your eSIM
After installation, you’ll be prompted to label your eSIM.
We recommend naming it something like:
- “Figabytes Travel”
- “Figabytes Data”
This helps you identify it later if you use multiple SIMs.
Step 7: Keep the eSIM Turned Off (If Traveling)
If you’re installing the eSIM before your trip:
- Leave the eSIM turned off
- Enable it only after you arrive at your destination
This helps ensure your plan activates at the right time.
How to Activate the eSIM After Installation
Once you arrive at your destination:
- Open Settings
- Go to Connections → SIM manager
- Turn on your Figabytes eSIM
- Enable Mobile data and Data roaming for that eSIM
Your device should connect to a local network within a few minutes.
If Installation Fails
If the manual installation doesn’t work:
- Double-check the activation details
- Make sure Wi-Fi is stable
- Restart your device and try again

Important Notes
- Manual installation details can only be used once
- Do not delete the eSIM after installation unless instructed
- Deleting the eSIM may require a replacement
