If your Figabytes eSIM shows No Service, No Signal, Searching, or Emergency Calls Only, your device hasn't successfully connected to a supported mobile network.
This can happen because of your location, network selection, device settings, plan coverage, or a temporary network registration issue.
Follow the steps below to get your Figabytes eSIM connected.
"No Service" generally means your device can't currently register with an available mobile network using your Figabytes eSIM.
You may see messages such as:
This is different from having signal but no internet.
If you see signal bars, 4G/LTE, or 5G but can't access the internet, your eSIM is already connected to a network and the issue is more likely related to mobile data settings.
If you installed your Figabytes eSIM before traveling, it may not connect to a supported network while you're still in your home country.
Most travel eSIMs are designed to connect when you reach a destination included in the plan.
If you haven't arrived yet, seeing no network connection may be normal.
Confirm that the country you're currently visiting is included in your Figabytes plan.
This is especially important if you're using:
Sign in to your Figabytes account and check your plan details.
If your current destination isn't included, the eSIM won't be able to connect there.
Check that the eSIM itself is enabled.
Go to:
Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data → Figabytes
Make sure Turn On This Line is enabled.
Go to:
Settings → Network & Internet / Connections → SIMs / SIM Manager
Select your Figabytes eSIM and make sure it is turned on.
Figabytes travel eSIMs generally connect through supported partner networks, so Data Roaming should be enabled for the Figabytes eSIM.
Go to:
Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data → Figabytes → Data Roaming
Turn Data Roaming ON.
Open your Figabytes eSIM settings and turn Data Roaming ON.
Make sure you're changing the roaming setting for your Figabytes eSIM, not your primary home SIM.
Your device may need to refresh its network connection.
Your phone should begin searching for available networks again.
If your eSIM still shows No Service, restart your phone.
After restarting:
It can sometimes take a short time for a travel eSIM to connect after your device restarts.
Your phone normally selects an available supported network automatically.
Go to:
Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data → Figabytes → Network Selection
Make sure Automatic is enabled.
Wait while your iPhone searches for a network.
Go to:
Settings → Mobile Networks → Network Operators
Enable Automatically Select Network.
The exact menu may vary depending on your Android device.
If automatic network selection doesn't work, manually searching for a supported network can help.
Go to:
Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data → Figabytes → Network Selection
Turn Automatic OFF.
Wait for the list of available networks to appear.
Go to:
Settings → Mobile Networks → Network Operators
Turn automatic network selection off and search for available networks.
Try selecting a network supported by your Figabytes plan.
Not every network displayed on your phone will necessarily work with your Figabytes eSIM.
If you're unsure which network to select, check your Figabytes plan details or contact Figabytes Support.
If your phone can't find a network, your current location may have limited mobile coverage.
This can happen in:
Move outdoors or closer to a window and wait for your device to search for a network again.
Your device may be configured to use a network technology that isn't currently available.
Go to:
Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data → Figabytes → Voice & Data
Try selecting:
5G Auto or LTE/4G
depending on what's available.
Go to your mobile network settings and look for:
Preferred Network Type
Choose an automatic option that supports multiple network technologies, such as:
5G/4G/LTE Auto
The exact options vary by device.
Seeing SOS or Emergency Calls Only means your phone hasn't registered your Figabytes eSIM with a supported network for normal mobile service.
Your device may still detect another network for emergency services.
Follow the same troubleshooting steps:
If your Figabytes eSIM previously worked, check whether:
If you've recently crossed a border, your device may need a few minutes to register with a new local network.
Usually, APN settings affect mobile internet after your device has connected to a network.
If your phone shows No Service and has no network connection at all, start by checking:
Once your phone connects and displays signal bars, check the APN if mobile data still doesn't work.
Do not delete your Figabytes eSIM because it shows No Service.
Deleting the eSIM is unlikely to fix a local network registration problem.
Figabytes travel eSIM profiles are generally single-use, and deleting an installed eSIM may prevent you from reinstalling it using the same activation details.
Contact Figabytes Support before removing your eSIM.
