Installing a Figabytes eSIM on your Samsung Galaxy device is simple and can be done in more than one way. Depending on what you have available, you can install your eSIM using a QR code or by entering the details manually.
Before you begin, make sure your Samsung Galaxy device is eSIM-compatible, unlocked, and connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
Before You Start
Please make sure:
Your Samsung Galaxy device supports eSIM
Your device is unlocked
You are connected to reliable Wi-Fi
Your device software is up to date
You have your Figabytes eSIM details ready
Option 1: Install eSIM Using a QR Code (Recommended)
This is the easiest method if you have access to another screen to display the QR code.
Steps
Open Settings
Tap Connections
Select SIM manager
Tap Add eSIM
Choose Scan QR code
Scan the Figabytes eSIM QR code
Tap Add or Install to confirm
Wait a few moments while your device downloads the eSIM profile.
Option 2: Install eSIM Manually
If you can’t scan a QR code, you can install the eSIM manually using activation details.
Steps
Open Settings
Go to Connections → SIM manager
Tap Add eSIM
Select Enter activation code or Add using activation code
Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code provided by Figabytes
Tap Add or Install
Keep your device connected to Wi-Fi until installation completes.
After Installation: What to Do Next
Label Your eSIM
When prompted, name your eSIM for easy identification.
Recommended labels:
“Figabytes Travel”
“Figabytes Data”
Keep the eSIM Turned Off (If Installing Before Travel)
If you’re installing your eSIM before your trip:
Leave the Figabytes eSIM turned off
Turn it on only after you arrive at your destination
This helps ensure your plan activates at the correct time.
How to Activate the eSIM After Arrival
Once you arrive at your destination:
Open Settings
Go to Connections → SIM manager
Turn on your Figabytes eSIM
Enable Mobile data and Data roaming for that eSIM
Your device should connect to a local network within a few minutes.
If Installation Doesn’t Work
If you experience any issues:
Double-check your eSIM details
Ensure Wi-Fi is stable
Restart your device and try again
If the issue continues, contact the Figabytes support team for assistance.
Important Information
Each eSIM can be installed only once
Do not delete the eSIM after installation unless instructed
Deleting the eSIM may require a replacement
