🔍 Why Your Figabytes eSIM Might Not Connect

  • Missing or incorrect APN

  • Weak signal or network congestion

  • Airplane Mode stuck

  • VPN or security app blocking mobile data

  • Your destination country isn’t part of your plan

Fix 1 — Set Your Data Line to Figabytes

Your iPhone may still be using your physical SIM for data.

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Mobile Data

  3. Under Mobile Data Line, select Figabytes

If it says “No Connection,” continue with the next steps.


Fix 2 — Turn ON Data Roaming

Travel eSIMs require roaming to function.

  1. Settings → Mobile Data

  2. Tap your Figabytes eSIM

  3. Turn Data Roaming ON

Your home SIM should keep Data Roaming OFF, otherwise you’ll get roaming charges.

Settings → General → Transfer or Reset → Reset Network Settings

🛑 Fix 10 — Check If Your Device Is Carrier-Locked

iPhones locked to a carrier cannot use travel eSIMs.

Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock

If it says:

  • “No SIM restrictions” → ✔️ unlocked

  • Anything else → ❌ locked (contact your carrier to unlock)
