Before you begin, make sure your iPhone is unlocked, eSIM-compatible, and connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.

Please make sure you have:
An eSIM-compatible iPhone
A reliable Wi-Fi connection
Your Figabytes eSIM activation details (SM-DP+ address and activation code)
The latest iOS version installed
Step-by-Step: Manual eSIM Installation on iPhone
Step 1: Open Settings
Open Settings on your iPhone.
Step 2: Go to Mobile Data
Tap Mobile Data (or Cellular, depending on your iOS version).
Step 3: Add an eSIM
Tap Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan.
Step 4: Choose Manual Entry
Select Enter Details Manually instead of scanning a QR code.
Step 5: Enter Activation Details
Carefully enter the information provided by Figabytes:
SM-DP+ Address
Activation Code
Make sure the details are entered exactly as shown.
Step 6: Confirm and Install
Tap Next or Continue to download the eSIM profile.
Keep your iPhone connected to Wi-Fi while installation completes.
Step 7: Label Your eSIM
When prompted, name your eSIM.
Recommended labels:
“Figabytes Travel”
“Figabytes Data”
This makes it easier to manage if you use multiple mobile plans.
Step 8: Keep the eSIM Turned Off Until Needed
If you’re installing the eSIM before traveling:
This helps ensure the plan activates at the correct time.
How to Activate the eSIM After Arrival
Once you arrive:
Open Settings
Go to Mobile Data
Turn on your Figabytes eSIM
Enable Data Roaming for that eSIM
Set Figabytes as your mobile data line
Your iPhone should connect to a local network within a few minutes.
