Samsung Galaxy devices allow you to install a Figabytes eSIM directly from your phone, without scanning a QR code. This method is useful if you don’t have access to a second screen or prefer a fully on-device setup.
Before starting, make sure your Samsung Galaxy device is eSIM-compatible, unlocked, and connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
Before You Start
Please ensure the following:
Your Samsung Galaxy device supports eSIM
Your device is unlocked
You have a reliable Wi-Fi connection
Your device software is up to date
You have your Figabytes eSIM activation details ready
Step-by-Step: Direct eSIM Installation on Samsung Galaxy
On your Samsung Galaxy device, open Settings.
Tap Connections, then select SIM manager.
Tap Add eSIM, then choose Enter activation code or Add using activation code (wording may vary by model).
Carefully enter the activation information provided by Figabytes, such as:
SM-DP+ address
Activation code
Make sure all details are entered exactly as provided.
Tap Add or Install to begin downloading the eSIM profile.
This process may take a few moments. Keep your device connected to Wi-Fi until installation is complete.
Once installed, you’ll be asked to name the eSIM.
Suggested labels:
“Figabytes Travel”
“Figabytes Data”
This makes it easier to identify later, especially if you use multiple SIMs.
If you’re installing the eSIM before traveling:
Leave the Figabytes eSIM turned off
Turn it on only after you arrive at your destination
This helps ensure your plan activates at the correct time.
How to Activate the eSIM After Arrival
Once you arrive at your destination:
Open Settings
Go to Connections → SIM manager
Turn on your Figabytes eSIM
Enable Mobile data and Data roaming for that eSIM
Your device should connect to a local network within a few minutes.
If Installation Doesn’t Work
If you encounter issues:
Double-check the activation details
Ensure Wi-Fi is stable
Restart your device and try again
If the issue persists, contact the Figabytes support team for assistance.
Important Information
Activation details can be used only once
Do not delete the eSIM after installation unless instructed
Deleting the eSIM may require a replacement
