If you don’t have access to a QR code or prefer to install everything directly on your iPhone, you can set up your Figabytes eSIM using on-device installation. This method allows you to enter the activation details directly in your iPhone settings.
Before starting, make sure your iPhone is eSIM-compatible, unlocked, and connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
Before You Start
Please confirm the following:
Your iPhone supports eSIM
Your iPhone is unlocked
You are connected to reliable Wi-Fi
Your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS version
You have your Figabytes eSIM activation details ready
Step-by-Step: Direct eSIM Installation on iPhone
Open Settings on your iPhone.
Tap Mobile Data (or Cellular, depending on your iOS version).
Tap Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan.
Select Enter Details Manually to continue with direct installation.
Enter the activation information provided by Figabytes:
SM-DP+ Address
Activation Code
Be sure to enter the details exactly as shown.
Tap Next or Continue.
Your iPhone will download and install the eSIM profile. Keep your device connected to Wi-Fi until the process is complete.
When prompted, name your eSIM.
Recommended labels:
“Figabytes Travel”
“Figabytes Data”
This makes it easier to identify if you use more than one mobile plan.
If you’re installing the eSIM before traveling:
Leave the Figabytes eSIM turned off
Turn it on only after you arrive at your destination
This helps ensure your plan activates at the correct time.
How to Activate the eSIM After Arrival
Once you arrive at your destination:
Open Settings
Go to Mobile Data
Turn on your Figabytes eSIM
Enable Data Roaming for that eSIM
Set Figabytes as your mobile data line
Your iPhone should connect to a local network within a few minutes.
If Installation Doesn’t Work
If you experience any issues:
Double-check the activation details
Make sure Wi-Fi is stable
Restart your iPhone and try again
If the issue continues, contact the Figabytes support team for help.
Important Information
Activation details can only be used once
Do not delete the eSIM after installation unless instructed
Deleting the eSIM may require issuing a replacement
