In most cases, your Figabytes eSIM configures network settings automatically. However, if mobile data isn’t working as expected, you may need to check or update your APN (Access Point Name) settings.
This guide explains what APN settings are, when you need to change them, and how to update APN settings on your device.
What Are APN Settings?
APN (Access Point Name) settings tell your device how to connect to the mobile data network.
If these settings are missing or incorrect, your phone may show signal bars but still not connect to the internet.

You may need to update APN settings if:
Mobile data is not working
You see signal bars but no internet access
Your eSIM installed correctly but won’t connect
You were advised to update APN settings by support
In many cases, adjusting the APN resolves connectivity issues quickly.
Before You Start
Please make sure:
Your Figabytes eSIM is installed and turned on
Mobile data is enabled for the eSIM
Data roaming is turned ON
You are in a supported destination
How to Change APN Settings on iPhone (iOS)
Open Settings
Tap Mobile Data (or Cellular)
Select your Figabytes eSIM
Tap Mobile Data Network
Enter the APN details provided by Figabytes
Leave any fields not mentioned as blank
Return to the previous screen to save changes
Restart your device after updating the APN.
How to Change APN Settings on Android
Open Settings
Go to Network & Internet or Connections
Select SIMs or Mobile Network
Choose your Figabytes eSIM
Tap Access Point Names (APN)
Add a new APN or edit the existing one
Enter the APN details provided by Figabytes
Save the changes and select the new APN
Restart your device to apply the changes.
Important APN Notes
APN details must be entered exactly as provided
Do not add extra spaces or characters
Leave fields blank unless instructed
Restarting your device helps apply the new settings
If Data Still Doesn’t Work
If updating APN settings doesn’t resolve the issue:
Confirm mobile data is set to the Figabytes eSIM
Try manually selecting a network
Restart your device again
