Using your Figabytes eSIM as a hotspot (tethering) is a great way to share your mobile data with a laptop, tablet, or another device while traveling.
But sometimes, the hotspot may not connect or may stop working.
This guide explains why hotspot issues happen and the quick steps to fix them on both iPhone and Android.

Hotspot problems usually happen due to:

Hotspot not enabled on the device
Data line not set to Figabytes

✅ Fix 1 — Ensure Mobile Data Is Set to Figabytes
Your phone must use Figabytes as the primary data line.

Settings → Mobile Data → Mobile Data Line → Figabytes
Android
Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Mobile Data → Figabytes
If your home SIM is selected for data, hotspot will not work.
